The data book is the first dedicated statistical edition, examining status and trends in the scientific capacity of Russian Academy of Sciences. The book consists of two parts. The first one presents the information based on the regular state statistics. Input and output indicators of research activity, including the information on creation, use and exportation of high technologies, are placed in this part of the data book. In the second part, RAS departmental statistical data, supplementary to the state statistical indicators, are disposed. The publication is based on the information materials of Rosstat and Russian Academy of Sciences and is addressed to RAS researchers and the top managers of RAS.
