The publication presents the latest data on research and innovation activity in the country. It contains science, technology and innovation indicators compiled in the sections of general R&D performance, S&T sectors, patents and technology, innovation, international comparisons and bibliometric indicators. The data book is based on statistical information of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russian Patent Office (Rospatent), Ministry of Finance of the RF, Eurostat, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and bibliometric information provided by Thomson Reuters and Elsevier data bases (Web of Science, InCites, Essential Science Indicators, and Scopus).
The brief data book is addressed to government officials, research community and wide audience.
